Well, I am not skinny, and l guess maybe a few pounds overweight...
Some days l feel extremely thirsty, and l need to keep drinking more and more- but only some times
l feel extremely tired usually...l literally have to go sit down or lay down, and l feel as if my heart it going way too fast

l do not know if this is just how all 13 year old girls feel, or if l really do have diabetes, so can you guys help me?

It is very unlikely that u have diabetes. Your symptoms r uncharacteristic of type l & it is also unlikely that u have type II.

With diabetes, u r constantly extremely thirsty, urinate constantly, & r always hungry - even though you're losing weight (triad of polydypsia, polyuria, & polyphagia). Yeast infection would only be symptomatic after a long time with the disease, not right at the outset.
Family history of high cholesterol does not predict diabetes.
If you're still concerned, u can get a fasting blood sugar test from ur family doc or pediatrician.

No, l really do not think you have diabetes, you sound like a typical person - sometimes thirsty and tired at the end of the day. You extreme tiredness could also be a sign of anemia. Do you eat enough protein each day? Also, being overweight can cause you to be tired. But it may be nothing at all because most of the teenagers l know can sleep 20 hours a day if you let them!!
