What is the importance of insulin in glucose absorption of cells.

insulin facilitate the usage of glucose by the cells.without it.glucose wont be absorbed by the cells and its level would increase to levels that are not healty.

The importance of it has to do with being insulin resistant which most type 2 is are. The glucose needs to leave the blood and enter the cells of the body systems and organs for energy. The brain is the most important organ to receive the glucose.
