When you have diabetes, if your bgl (blood glucose level) is too high the body will try too get rid of the excess glucose (sugar) by trying to pee it out.

The increased production of urine is because the body tries to get rid of the excess glucose through urine by diluting it with water

If the bodys glucose is too high, the kidneys wil respond by trying to remove it through urine.

If blood glucose is consistantly too low, then the body will burn fat, known as ketones, and it will show up in a urine and blood test.
