Let me tell you that by drinking the juice of bitter-god , it will increase the ability of pancreas to secrete more insulin , otherwise you can take medicine name pilgrim forte , controlling your diets , having balanced diet. l am definitely sure it will reduce your diabetes

The first thing to do would be to call 911, & if conscious, give a sweet drink to him/her.

NEVER give insulin! If the person is blood sugar level is already low, u might just be sending them into a hypoglycemic (extremely low blood sugar) coma.

Once the person is in hospital, they will test his/her blood to see what is really happening, & then take the appropriate action.

Raised blood sugar levels take a while before they will send anyone into a coma, whereas low blood sugar levels happens quickly.

It is great that you're asking the question. You will know now what action to take. l am going to star this question to see what other responses recommend.

Edit:

I've assumed here that u have not been present with the diabetic person, so r not sure how to go about checking blood sugar levels, & determining what to do if it is high or low.

More likely if the person fainted, their blood sugar was LOW, which means they need sugar, not insulin. If u know that their BG is low, u can give them Glucagon, which is a kit that will raise blood sugar quickly.one caveat is that it induces nausea, so watch out. Another easier method is putting a little gel icing between their lip & gum. The icing wont choke them & they will get the sugar they need.

If they r awake & aware, give them orange juice.

People who have fainted from low blood sugar probably have BG below about 30-35 while coma does not appear in high BG until they r 500-600+. If u know a person is blood sugar is high, they need insulin & keep them awake.dont let them fall asleep!

Insulin lowers blood sugar.
If the person is conscious, give regular soda or juice.
Call 911.

The first thing u should do is call 911. If they r still somewhat conscious, u can try to get them to drink some juice, eat a few little pieces of banana, candy, such as chocolate, or something with plenty of sugar in it. If they r somewhat conscious, chances r they have low blood sugars, & should be treated immediately, & u can do this while u wait for the ambulance.

If the completely pass out & begin to have seizures, most diabetics carry something called glucagon around with them. It is essentially a glucose, or sugar, shot that helps draw out the body is own store of glucagon. This should only be given in the case that the person CANNOT eat or drink at all, & if they're seizing. My boyfriend is shot comes in a red case that is easily recognizable.

Hope this satisfies ur curiosity! :)

As the others said, juice or sugary soda if conscious (a diabetic may fight you, but insist). If unconscious: call 911. If you do not have glucogen, you can put a sweet viscous substance like honey on their gums. It can not be a liquid or they could choke. But the gums will absorb sugar quickly. Most diabetics do not faint in a kitchen so the chances are you wo not ever have this come up.

If u think ur blood glucose is too low, use a blood glucose meter to check ur level. If it is 70 mg/dL or below, have one of these ''quick fix'' foods right away to raise ur blood glucose:

2 or 3 glucose tablets
1/2 cup (4 ounces) of any fruit juice
1/2 cup (4 ounces) of a regular (not diet) soft drink
1 cup (8 ounces) of milk
5 or 6 pieces of hard candy
1 or 2 teaspoons of sugar or honey
After 15 minutes, check ur blood glucose again to make sure that it is no longer too low. If it is still too low, have another serving. Repeat these steps until ur blood glucose is at least 70. Then, if it will be an hour or more before ur next meal, have a snack.
