Sorry
Unfortunately, INSULIN is a small protein strand. When it hits ur stomach it gets totally digested & does not exist to reach the blood stream. There is a Snort-it-up-your-nose insulin, but it does not work as well.
l know shots suck, but the needles now r almost as fine as a human hair, & really hurt less than a mosquito bite. If u r fabulous at tight control some people qualify for a continuous pump!
And un- or Under-treated diabetes REALLY sucks, eyes, stomach, legs, erectile function, bad news
Good Luck!

As far as l know you can only get natural insulin from a human or animal pancreas. And l do not think you can not just grab one and start chewing on it. There is a process you have to go through to extract the insulin out of it. l saw something about it on an episode of DLife . There was a type 1 diabetic woman was stranded overseas during WWI l with no insulin. Her husband studied some books and figured out how to brew her up some from an animal pancreas.

Dear Knomanho!

Diabetics may one day pop a pill rather than take shots, thanks to a new compound that mimics insulin.

Several tests r being conducted & they show that the substance, which comes from a fungus harvested in the Democratic Republic of Congo, works like insulin by significantly lowering blood sugar levels in mice with diabetes. Insulin is a natural hormone that allows the body to metabolize sugar.

Additionally, the herbal oils given to the diabetic rats enhanced their sensitivity to the insulin doses they received to keep their glucose levels stable, meaning that they needed less insulin to achieve the same effect.

These studies r still in process till then u had to bear with Insulin shots.

Foods do not contain insulin. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas in humans and animals. And if there were such a plant, the insulin would be destroyed by the acids in the stomach when you eat it. This is why all insulin has to be injected.

No, but even if there were, your body would destroy it before it could be absorbed. Insulin must be injected or pumped. Try not to be afraid of the injections. You hardly even feel them and it gets much easier over time.
