Can a human being live past 120 years? 122 123? Genesis tells us not, what is your opinion?

Why would you want to?? My grandmother was 96 when she passed up to heaven, and had neither her husband, her 2 children nor her brothers or 2 of her sisters and none of her old school friends left to visit with. Life could get entirely boring that way l would think.

She was blind and nearly deaf, so could not do her handwork nor read any more. Quality of life is much better than quantity.

It is not the quantity of years that is important is the quality of them. If l could live to be 120 years old & have a sound mind & relatively sound body, l think it would be cool. But how would l feel about being the only one left in my family & all my friends r gone (assuming they r not r fortunate in the longevity area as me), l do not think I'd like that. Biblical characters lived longer because they did not have the preservatives & additives we have in our food. They also did not eat most of the junk we stuff ourselves with now, so they were not plagued with the diseases we have to deal with.
