I am trying to find out ALL the criteria for a monogenic diabetic and what I've found online is the highlights, and in fact at least the age of the children affected has been found to be expanded.

- l know it can be in young children, diagnosed w/ type 1 under the age of 4-5.
- Monogenic diabetics dont typically make ketones from high blood sugar, only starvation ketones

I've been searching for more but keep hitting walls.At the same time I am not very internet savvy.Can you help me find more of this criteria?
Thanks Terri.l should've mentioned that l have been studying vigorously the sites below.While I've learned a lot about what it is, I am not finding what l need.They have a very short, birdseye list of criteria, and at least the age has since been identified as expanded.
