Someone just recommended that l try Vitex (chaste berry) to help my PCOS.Is this something l can get over the counter, a naturopathic product, or is this only prescribed by a doctor?Just wondering how l can get this?

Do not get fooled by quick, easy treatments. they do not exist.

The most effective treatment for PCOS, is the same as the recommended treatment for type two diabtetes. Lots of research & hard work. Basically, it is weight management through plenty of daily exercise & a healthy, natural foods based diet. Minimize or eliminate the meat & dairy, maximize the raw fruits & vegetables, & stick with a low carb, high fiber (whole grains) diet & walk at least twenty minutes a day. Search Dr. Joel Fuhrman is ''Eat to Live'' book for more on this.
