l have type 1 diabetes during last 8 years... now a days my glucose level gets higher? i am on mixtard 70/30.. 42 units at morning and 20 units at night. today my fasting were 371 .. l do not know what happens with me...
i will be marry within 3 months.... l have problem l have yeast vaginal infection as well as dry vagina... l am using travacort and canesten cream... l am scared (how can l sex) because l can not.... nobody will understand me... plz help me 3 hours ago - 3 days left to answer. This often happens with diabetes. That is why u need to be in regular contact with ur doctor. You need to see the doctor at least every 6-8 weeks, Sometimes more.
The yeast infections MIGHT be caused by diabetes. This is another reason to see the doctor. Only the doctor can decide for sure.
Diabetes will not cause a DISABILITY in women to have sex, but it will make the enjoyment less. In men, diabetes will make it so that he cannot have an erection, & then a man cannot have sex.
You MUST talk with ur doctor. He is the only person that can give u good advice.
YOU must learn to control ur sugars. Make sure that ur diet is proper. Eat NO sugars (candy, cake, pies, ice cram, soda pop, energy drinks, sports drinks), eat much less starch (bread, crackers, pasta, rice, potatoes). Eat more fiber (green salads, broccoli, celery, whole grain products). Get more exercise. & try to lose weight.
WOrk with ur doctor to reduce blood sugars. He may need to change ur medicines, but u must control diet & gert more exercise first.

You need to talk to ur endocrinologist about ur glucose readings. The amount of insulin that u take, & the type of insulin that u take will change over time. Also, the way that diabetes is treated has changed in the last 8 years, with lots of different types of medications to help diabetics control ur glucose levels. If u aren't, keep a real good log of ur blood sugar levels, & the amount of carbs that u r eating, & what time u r eating. With good data, u & ur doctor can work out the proper insulin dosing regimen for you. The doctor can also determine whether ur gynecological symptoms r a symptom of diabetes & if so, how to treat the symptoms.

Your sugars are higher because of the infection. Talk to your PC doctor about treating the infection and your endo about extra insulin during the course of the illness. Stay on top of those ketones!

Are u seeing a diabetes educator? If not, get a referral from ur doc. They can sit down with u for an hour at a time where the docs can not. They can download ur meter & help u figure out patterns & adjustments needed. You might just be experiencing dawn phenomenon, where growth hormones that u produce in the middle of the night cause high BG is in the morning. l have my pump set at double the rate from 4am - 7am to cover it. Type 1 is hard to control but a diabetes educator can get u back on track. For the dryness issue, lots & lots of foreplay & K-Y lubricant!

Start doing this today. These pranayam exercises will help control the diabetes & the side effects.Build up the timing gradually.If u feel tired or dizzy, stop & resume later(after about a minute).The benefits will be noticed in days as the sugar level is checked daily.Over the long term the diabetes will be in full control & the medicine can be reduced in consultation with the doctor.
Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm & do for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day. Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.
Anulom Vilom – Close ur right nostril with thumb & deep breath-in through left nostril then – close left nostril with two fingers & breath-out through right nostril then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril then - close ur right nostril with thumb & breath-out through left nostril. This is one cycle of anulom vilom. Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day). Children under 15 years - do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day. You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs.You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed. Also everyday, press the centre point of the palm of both ur hands 40 times with the thumb & press the tips of all fingers 40 times each. Also do this: kneel down, breathe out,pull in stomach, keep ur both hands on stomach, bend forward & try to touch the floor with ur forehead.Do this 3 times to stimulate the kidney & pancreas. Continue the exercises once a day, after the diabetes is in full control.
